Mandarin Re Appoints Bui Quang Hai as Business Director, Asia Region

Mandarin Re is pleased to announce the appointment of Bui Quang Hai as Business Director for the Asia region, January 12, 2026.

He brings over 20 years of reinsurance experience across Asia. His background spans underwriting, client management, and business development, supported by strong technical expertise and a deep understanding of regional market dynamics.

Prior to joining Mandarin Re, Bui Quang Hai held senior roles at leading global reinsurance organisations including Munich Re and Swiss Re, as well as regional firms. His career has taken him across Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Europe, giving him a broad and practical perspective on both local and international markets.

In his new role, Bui Quang Hai will focus on strengthening client relationships and supporting Mandarin Re’s continued growth across Asia.
