MANDARIN RE ATTENDS SIRC 2022

The Singapore International Reinsurance Conference (SIRC) returned as an in-person event after a three-year hiatus. This year's event took place from 31st October – 3rd November, 2022 at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre, Singapore. 

 This year’s conference theme “Reconnecting … Re-shaping the Future!”, was apt as it strongly reflected the desire of the industry to reconnect in-person. The incredible turnout was a testament to this, as the conference attracted more than 2,200 key decision-makers from insurers, reinsurers and brokers from across Asia and international markets.

 Representing Mandarin Re at SIRC this year were Redzal Mohamad (CEO) and Amar Rizal Ibrahim (Senior Underwriter). The 4-day conference was filled with networking, meetings, and insightful discussions. It was a great opportunity to connect and reconnect as well as build meaningful relationships with clients, partners and industry peers.

 SIRC also presented an opportunity for Mandarin Re to update our clients and partners on the business momentum we have achieved since the onset of the pandemic and share with them the latest developments at Mandarin Re as well as future plans.

 The panel discussions during the entire conference were insightful and addressed pressing issues including rising inflation and emerging risks such as geopolitical risks and catastrophe risks. With Asia Pacific region continues to lead global growth, Mandarin Re is poised to deliver higher value that suits our clients’ specific needs and to assist them in addressing emerging risks faced by their business in light of current macro-economic uncertainties.
