Financial Manager/Controller
Salary based on the results of the interview
Responsibilities:
• Monitor and ensure compliance with the sector-specific Financial Services regulations and other applicable legislation.
• Conduct compliance checks and audits, identified deficiencies and risks, oversaw corrective actions. Produced compliance reports for Management.
• Prepare the monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual reports with respect to anti money laundering activities, as required by the regulator
• Develop and conduct training programs to staff on matters relating to anti money laundering issues and
• Monitoring ongoing financial operations within a company, such as payroll, invoicing, cash flow and other transactions
• Formulating strategic and long-term business plans
• Researching and reporting on factors influencing business performance and identifying areas for potential improvement
• Identifying cost reduction opportunities
• Ascertaining methods for minimizing financial risk to the company
• Analyze financial portfolio to evaluate and monitor portfolio risk, giving consideration to individual security, sector and asset class exposure
• Portfolio Diversification
• Examine and assess economic and market trends, earnings prospects, financial statements and various other indicators and factors to determine suitable investment strategies

Job requirements:
• Excellent knowledge of English, other languages (Spanish/French/Hindi/Arabic) will be as the advantage
• Higher education (economy, finance)
• 5 years accounting experience in a foreign company
• In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes
• Outstanding analytical and time management skills
• Strong attention to details
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Working conditions:

Underwriter
Salary based on the results of the interview
Duties:

• Underwriting of property, construction and technical risks, marine and liability risks accepted for reinsurance;
• Maintaining incoming international reinsurance programs;
• Expanding the Company reinsurance portfolio and partners’ base;
• Maintaining communication with clients / brokers in English and relations with them;
• Primary analytics to collect information about concluded contracts

Requirements:
• Fluent (advanced) English;
French/Spanish/Hindi/Arabic languages as the advantage;
• Higher education (economic, insurance);
• Knowledge of the international insurance / reinsurance market (PAR & IAR Policies in different manufacturing (Textile, Paper, Shoes, Pharmaceuticals & so on), Contractors’ All Risks (CAR), Marine Risks worldwide);
• Knowledge of European insurance legislation (Solvency II);
• Willingness to travel;
• Attendance at conferences;
• Work experience in insurance or reinsurance companies - 10 years and more;
• Communication skills and ability to conduct presentations;
Claim manager/ Adjuster
Salary based on the results of the interview
Work experience – 10 years and more in re/insurance

• Managing property, casualty, marine and cargo claims (incl. Motor, General & Professional Liability) – i.e. investigating and providing legal analysis for insurance and reinsurance coverage and quantitative matters determining liability in principle, coverage and amount of indemnity paid
• Claims management for large losses/outliers, including determining the ultimate amount paid out based on a prudent best estimate and quarterly review (single and accumulated losses)
• Thorough investigation and assessment of claims for coverage, and damages, and pursuit of recoveries and subrogation/contribution opportunities.
• In-depth understanding of coverage issues, policy forms, contracts, regulatory requirements, and changing legal landscape for property and casualty claims.
• Proactive and prompt management of claims, considering all aspects with a strategic vision for optimal claim outcome.
• Conducting claims reviews (internally and externally)
• Monitoring, evaluating and reporting legislative changes, case law, loss trends and impact on claims management by Mandarin Re
• Increasing transparency regarding loss drivers by analyzing / monitoring / steering the loss portfolios (frequency / severity trend detection)
• Strong interaction with our clients and colleagues
• Setting appropriate, timely reserves over the life of the claim
